The Reserve area of the library is where textbooks are placed by AWC and NAU-Yuma Instructors.

  • We do not have all textbooks, only those supplied to the library by individual professors or departments.
  • In addition to books, you will find DVDs, CDs, and readings.
  • You will need an account with the Academic Library to check out books or other items.
  • In most cases Reserve items remain in the library and time limitations may apply.
  • The Circulation Desk staff will tell you how long an item can be checked out and if it can leave the library.

The easiest way to find Reserve items:

  • Search for the title of your textbook in the Library Catalog. (If you can't remember the title of your textbook, visit the Bookstore's website and search for it there.)
  • The location of the item will say "Reserve Desk."
  • Write down the shelf/call number, go to the Circulation Desk near the entrance of the library and library staff will find the item for you.
